This is a 24×24 acrylic on canvas painting I did of our garden, featuring a clay pot with succulents spilling out to the rest of the border. I had finally gotten this particular border looking the way I wanted, and decided to take a picture. The picture was so pretty I of course decided I wanted to paint it. The succulents were the most challenging, and I’m mostly happy with the way they turned out, but I’m most proud of the clay pot and the rocks. I feel like those are the star of the piece.
