This is a 36×24 acrylic on canvas painting I did of a friend and her Bernadoodle LouLou.  A friend had take this picture of her and she posted it on Facebook.  I instantly knew I wanted to paint it…everything about it was perfection.  That couch. The way she’s holding the dog’s paw and how they are looking at each other.  The gorgeous decor, and that immense painting to the right of the animal print sofa.  I got permission from my friend and began work. It took a really long time to get everything done…there’s a lot of detail involved, but I was very happy with the end result, and most importantly, so was Courtney.
