This is a website redesign I did for All A Board, Inc. out of Richmond, VA. All A Board provides quality contract furnishings for group homes, treatment facilities, firehouses, homeless shelters, resorts, camps, and much more. When they came to me they had a very dated site that didn’t really allow for easy quote requests, and wasn’t responsive. They have an *extensive* collection of items, organized into several collections, with various options, including a few hundred fabric choices, all of which needed to be displayed in a way that made it easy for potential and repeat customers to find exactly what they were looking for, and to be able use options available to each product, for quote requests. This was probably one of my most challenging projects to date.
I set them up with a WordPress site which I customized heavily to make it just right for their specific needs. The quote system is run with a combination of WooCommerce and YITH’s Request a Quote, and Product Filter plugins, in addition to StudioWombat’s Advanced Custom Fields Extended. This combination of plugins and extensions allowed me to set up a rather complicated online catalog that works as smoothly as possible.
It was a long process, but the client now has something they can be proud of, and will hopefully help connect them with new organizations who need what they offer.
