I’ve done several projects for Derek over the past couple years, but his earlier minimalist portrait is one of my favorite designs I’ve done for him. That portrait was to be used on his professional Facebook page and blog.  A while later, he approached me to do a more casual one of him for his personal Facebook page.  He provided a photo of him wearing a super hero tee (The Flash), kippah, sunglasses, and in a standard super hero pose.  I loved it!  I began work immediately, and this was the final result.  I still like the other portrait, but I have to say this now replaced the earlier portrait as my new favorite design for Derek.
