Study in Scarlet

I asked my daughter to help me pick a photo for my next watercolor study.  She picked a photo that basically showed her holding our little dog, Shmosby, while standing on the ottoman in our den.  The photo actually only showed her from her chin to the hem of her shorts, so I had to improvise a little bit.  There is so much red in our den that I decided to call it “A Study in Scarlet.”
