What We Do
Branding, Graphic Design & Printed Materials
When marketing your business, information is key, but first impressions count. Whether it’s your website, a business card, or some other marketing media, you want to have branding and marketing materials that grab a potential client’s eye, and showcase your business’ information. That’s where a good designer can help! Whether you need a new logo, need existing branding updated, or need someone to incorporate your brand into into visually captivating printed marketing materials, like brochures, business cards, rack cards, posters, postcards or print ads, we’ve got you covered!
Custom Web Design
Designing for the web is about a lot more than merely opening up a graphics editing program and creating some pretty shapes. Web design is about solving a problem. Depending on the what the purpose of the site will be, the structure will change. What are you seeking to communicate to your intended audience? Are you going for a modern or traditional feel? Ground breaking or conservative? What changes can you make to the design to make the Information Architecture flow better? These are all things that are taken into consideration when designing a new site. And we can help. From helping you develop and organize content, which by far the most important aspect of any site, to creating a look and feel that showcases that content - we’re here to help!
Social Media Management
For today’s businesses, getting your brand and message out to potential clients is key. Having a great website is essential, but proper use of social media outlets can also be an extremely effective tool for business. We can set you up with a Facebook page, or Twitter account that incorporates your branding, and your voice. We can also help clients maintain and manage those accounts.
Short of the content the HTML is probably the most important aspect of a new site and its interaction with Search Engines. Do a poor on the HTML, or allow your WSYWIG editor to do a poor job of generating HTML code, and the site will have major inconsistencies in different browsers, Search Engines won’t be able to make sense of your content, and integrating any kind of Content Management System will become far more difficult. Sometimes it’s the simple things that can make a huge difference.
While we are familiar with several different Content Management Systems (namely, WordPress and Joomla!) it always comes back around to ExpressionEngine. Regardless of whether the site is a simple blog or a more complex website with a lot of functionality added on, ExpressionEngine just makes managing your content so much easier. For those clients who want a CMS, don’t quite need all of the bells and whistles of an ExpressionEngine site, and don’t quite have the budget for an ExpressionEngine site, MojoMotor is the answer. It’s another fine product put out by EllisLab. Sort of ExpressionEngine lite, if you will.
